"It was with some trepidation that I hired John's Handyman & Home Improvement Services to build a series of decks, elevated walkways and steps for our house. The previous contractor had badly botched the job, was over budget and had not finished the project, so I was nervous about salvaging the job and getting it finished. John was able allay our anxiety and proposed a plan of action for getting the substandard work of the previous contractor demolished and removed. John and his excellent crew worked through one of the coldest Decembers on record. They were on the job everyday. The job was completed on time and on budget. Along the way John incorporated several key design elements which I had not considered. His attention to good building practices and knowledge of modern building codes are first rate.
